Devotian artwork I feel is a close alignment with Mary Magdalene, and on the eve of finishing the painting, a woman appeared to me in a dream - who I strongly feel was Mary Magdalene. She was very beautiful and wore a red head covering and flowing garment. She looked at me intently, with her deep eyes and held me within her gaze.

I felt a very deep connection with her. When I awoke from the dream there was a feeling of something very profound and I felt renewed and blessed by her presence.  The painting is oils on oval cradled aluminium panel - 23.5 inches x 31.5 inches. The original painting is currently for sale at a price which is negotiable, and Giclée flat and canvas prints are available. This is my latest painting: 'The Healing Angel'.  I’ve been really honoured to paint it as part of a commission for Birmingham Holistic Health Centre

I feel so much gratitude and also give my blessings to the Angels and how they influenced the painting. 

There is also a special energy at Birmingham Holistic Health Centre where practitioners and visitors alike have observed many orbs of pure white light in every room at the centre.

There has also been an Angel visitation, where a large Angel appeared and during an open event a woman described the centre as a 'place of angels'.

It seems that the painting has found its rightful home and I hope people enjoy its peaceful and healing presence.

This is my recent oil painting called 'White hawk' - which was inspired by a ‘visitation’ while in a very relaxed hypnagogic state. 

The entity bore the name of ‘White Hawk’ and he came to me as a spiritual messenger or guide and hovered above, while wrapping his protective wings around me.

He said he had come to reassure me that there was a way forward and I needed to rise to a higher vantage point in order to find clarity and a solution…

This is an oil painting, called luna, which reflects my love of the moon! The moon cycle always inspires my creativity ~ with each phase having an influence on my art!

The moon with its phases of waxing and waning, governs the behaviour and cycles of living things.

The tidal rhythms of the ocean flow in synchrony with the moon. The moon is my inspiration and I honour it ~ as shifting moods and inner dreams flow in consonnce with the natural cycles.

Moonlight Sphinx infuses aspects of a dreamlike quality or otherworldly strangeness. It is influenced by such places as Dean Cemetery in Edinburgh – and Highgate Cemetery in London. The painting also displays my fascination with sphinxes and their association with deep secrets and mysteries.

Lady of The Lake, an oil painting inspired by Arthurian Mythology, in which she is the bearer of the sword Excaliber, which she bestows to Arthur to enact his kingship. After Arthur’s death the sword is returned to her in the watery depths of the lake. She is the source of creative power and renewal, and her role is to act as a guide to the mysterious, hidden aspects of the unconscious.

I have a deep love of the sea, and a fascination for mermaids and often sense their presence when I am near the ocean.  The mermaid and her association with the element of water - and her fish form, represent the shifting moods and inner tides of the unconscious psyche.

The mermaid has captured the imagination from the earliest of times, where her compelling and elusive form is as mysterious and unfathomable as the ocean in which she resides.

The Guardian of Nectan’s Glen artwork was inspired by the waterfall at Nectan’s Glen, which is a spiritual site in Trethevy, in North Cornwall.  I always sense the presence of a Guardian who presides over the place and feels a deep spiritual connection there.  It is a magical place of spirit where I can sense their presence and feel their energies around me.

I was inspired to paint Archangel Michael when I was going through a very difficult time in my life.  The solution at the time seemed unlikely and I called on Archangel Michael for help - and it came to me in the most immediate and unlikely way!

Many people have commented on this painting, and have felt a deep familiarity and connection with it.  They have described their experience, such as one woman who said that she saw Archangel Michael in a dream and he looked just like how I had painted him.

This painting was inspired by an encounter I had at Avalon Orchard, near Glastonbury Tor.  I felt an angelic presence and energy field – and I entered into a deep trance-like state, which left me feeling so healed and relaxed.

The image depicts Cordelia, the Goddess of spring and summer flowers and flower faeries.  Inspired by the world of faery and the large white flowers that are depicted in the painting come from my fascination of Bindweed or Bellbind, with its large white trumpet flowers, which can be found growing profusely in the hedgerows where I live in Somerset.  I especially wanted to include the large flowers in this painting of Cordelia.

The painting was inspired by Welsh mythology and represents the goddess Bloduedd who turns into an owl, a creature of the night.  This story captured my imagination because it involved using fantastical and mythical elements to create a composite form.

I often like to visit the forest and spend time alone in the forest where I sense the presence of the green man - and feel his natural essence and vitality - in the living system of the earth.

The Samhain Eve artwork is inspired by my fascination with the underworld.  It is those regions that lie beneath the earth that are generally credited with strange, powerful or mysterious forces, which are often linked with the attainment of magical abilities.  The image represents a passage into another world, which is the haunt of a whole legion of wandering earth spirits, sprites and supernatural beings.  In Celtic mythology, Samhain Eve was when the gates of the Otherworld were believed to open, from which all the spirits freely roamed the land.

Faeries are usually elusive and invisible, but when they do appear they can be seen in the form of a human or animal, while they are sometimes large or diminutive in size with beautiful, ugly or grotesque characteristics and appearances.
